The stories below are from incarcerated women serving lengthy prison sentences in Connecticut.
The criminal offenses are not detailed here to protect the survivors and their families from retaliation. But each story ended with a violent loss of life, resulting in charges ranging from manslaughter to felony murder to murder with special circumstances.
